Welcome to PlantNurseryHQ (plantnurseryhq.com, the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. What the Site is
The Site is an independent informational directory of plant nurseries and garden centers. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any nursery, garden center, brand, chain, or state agriculture department listed. Listings are compiled from public sources (state nursery/dealer licensing registries and a public business-listings pull), described in full on our About page.
2. Information is provided "as is"
We work to keep information accurate, but businesses change their hours, prices, inventory, and locations without telling us, and the public sources we compile from are not continuously updated. All content (including licence badges, ratings, and hours) is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Always confirm details directly with a business before relying on them.
3. Not professional advice
Content on the Site (including growing-zone data, frost dates, and planting-window calendars) is general horticultural information computed from USDA, NOAA, and land-grant university extension sources. It is not personalized gardening or agronomic advice, and not legal, financial, or safety advice; it is not a substitute for a site visit, a soil test, or advice from a local nursery or extension office. We never publish pesticide, fungicide, herbicide, or other treatment recommendations. See the Disclaimer page for the specific notices that accompany planting guidance and per-listing data.
4. Your use of the Site
You agree not to misuse the Site, including: interfering with its operation, attempting to gain unauthorized access, scraping at volumes that burden the service, or using the Site to violate any law or third-party right.
5. Our content and yours
Our own original writing, page structure, and design are our property. The underlying facts about businesses and growing conditions are not proprietary to us, and we do not claim otherwise. Some imagery on the Site is AI-generated and labelled as such wherever it appears; we do not assert exclusive rights in generated images. Business names and trademarks belong to their owners and appear only to identify the businesses or programs they refer to.
6. Third-party sites
Links to third-party websites (including a business's own site and a licensing registry's source page) are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site's operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars (US $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those, these limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.
8. Corrections and removal
If you believe a listing about your business is inaccurate, or you want it updated or removed, use our Corrections & Removal Requests page. No email account or mailbox is required. We review every request and log it as it's handled.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflicts of law, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.
